What is PhotoCal?
PhotoCal is a web service that lets you combine photos with templates to create monthly calendar images. You can try it for free directly in your browser.
Do I need to create an account?
Some templates are available without signing in. An account (free) is required to save your photos and purchase premium templates.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. PhotoCal works in mobile browsers. You can upload photos and save the finished calendar image entirely from your phone.

How many templates are available?
We offer a growing collection of free and premium designs, mostly featuring Japanese landscapes with AI anime-style filtering, covering a range of seasons and themes.
Can I use photos taken on my phone?
Yes. Uploaded photos can be placed and resized to fit the template layout.
Can I change how holidays or anniversaries look?
Yes. You can set stamps, text colors, fonts, and outlines for each date to highlight important days.
Purchasing
What is the difference between free and premium templates?
Free templates are available to everyone immediately. Premium templates offer higher-quality designs and unique layouts. Once purchased, a template can be used any number of times.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Can I get a refund after purchasing?
Due to the nature of digital content, we are generally unable to offer refunds. Please contact us with any questions before purchasing.
Using your calendar
What format is the finished image saved in?
The calendar is saved as an image file. The available format depends on the template.
Can I use the image commercially?
Yes. Calendar images you create with PhotoCal are free to use for both personal and commercial purposes.
Can I print the calendar?
Yes. The output is high-resolution, making it suitable for printing.
